Hugh Jackman Instagrams latest skin cancer scare

Hugh Jackman posted a photo of his bandaged face to his Instagram account Thursday, revealing to fans that he's still battling skin cancer.

The 45-year-old had his first run-in with the disease back in November. He also took to Instagram then to reveal that he had a spot checked on his nose, which he found out was basal cell carcinoma.

It's the most frequently occurring form of all cancers, according to the Skin Cancer Foundation. While it doesn't usually spread to other parts of the body, it can be highly disfiguring if left unchecked, according to the foundation.

The "X-Men" and "Wolverine" star had an important warning to fans, especially as summer quickly approaches: "PLEASE! PLEASE! WEAR SUNSCREEN!"
