Houston Astros prospect Delino DeShields Jr. is the consummate definition of a good sport. And that's impressive, considering that this tweet of his face appeared on the Internet Saturday afternoon.

Man ... that's no small injury. Some people that saw the tweet couldn't believe it, so DeShields backed it up with one of his own. And he still managed to smile for it!
The fastball was going 90 mph when it hit DeShields in the face during his Corpus Christi Hooks game in Frisco, Texas. He was able to walk off the field under his own power, but he has a fractured cheekbone.
DeShields, the son of former MLB second baseman Delino DeShields, was the eighth overall pick in the 2010 draft. Baseball America ranked him as Houston’s No. 13 prospect over the winter.
