D'awww. A normal fire drill became a life-changing moment for firefighter Justin Deierling and school counselor Megan Zahorec.
Deierling and Zahorec had been dating for about six months -- they met while Deierling was volunteering for a charity walk at her school. The day of the proposal, Deierling and his company arrived at Zahorec's school, and unfurled a large banner that read, "Will You Marry Me? I Love You, Justin." Obviously she said yes, people cheered, and nice feelings were had by all.
And if you thought it was strange of him to pop the question at her place of employment, Deierling said there was a perfectly good reason.
"I've learned just how important the kids are to her," he told the New York Daily News. "I wanted to include the kids, the school and her job."
Girl, we think you found a keeper.
