Police in Georgia are asking for the public’s help in locating a 27-year-old mother who vanished last September.
Tiffany Michele Whitton was last seen around 2:00 a.m. on September 13 in front of a Walmart located on 210 Cobb Parkway.
The Marietta Police Department in a press release says no one has heard from Whitton since the day she disappeared, including her 6-year-old daughter.
Foul play hasn’t been ruled out, according to authorities.
Whitton was active on Facebook, posting updates and photos nearly every day, according to her page.
Her last update was posted on September 1, twelve days before she was last seen alive.
"What really worries us is that she literally vanished without a trace," Officer David Baldwin of the Marietta Police Department told HLN affiliate WXIA.
Her mother set up a Facebook page in January, pleading for people with information to come forward and call police.
“My plea remains the same today. You know who you are -- you are the person who has information but is afraid, for some reason, to come forward,” her mother wrote on the page Tuesday. “Please try to put yourself in my shoes for a moment. Imagine your child or your sister, mom, niece, cousin -- someone you love dearly -- is missing.”
Whitton is described as a white female, 5’2” tall and weighs about 100 pounds. She has greens eyes and blonde hair but is known to frequently change the color of her hair. She has multiple tattoos including Chinese symbols on her left wrist.
Anyone with information regarding the disappearance of Tiffany Whitton is asked to contact Detective Jonnie Moeller at 770-794-2366 or the Marietta Police Department Tip Line at 770-794-6990.
“I pray for you daily. I pray that God moves in your heart and gives you the courage to make a phone call. Please. We need answers,” her mother wrote.
