George Zimmerman to fight rapper DMX in charity boxing match

UPDATE: Promoter has apparently canceled the fight

George Zimmerman will fight rapper DMX in an upcoming online pay-per-view boxing match.

The celebrity was picked out of a pool of 1,500 applicants, according to the fight's promoter Damon Feldman.

The three-round bout had been scheduled for March 1, but Feldman says a new date will be announced next Wednesday.

DMX says he's out for blood.

Zimmerman, who was found not guilty of second-degree murder and manslaughter for killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin back in 2012, says he's been training hard for the match.
