After a much-criticized appearance on "The Today" show last week, Kate Gosselin brought her 13-year-old twin daughters to "The View" Monday, where the sisters opened up about their parents' divorce, but preferred to say little when asked about their father.
When "The View" co-hosts asked the twins how often they see and talk to their father Jon Gosselin, who has blasted their mother in the media since their split, the twins simply shrugged and remained silent. They did, however, talk about the affect their parents' divorce had on them.
“Honestly, it wasn’t hard for us. I think it was harder for [Kate], definitely,” Mady said. “It didn’t really affect me. We still saw both parents … and we were little, like 9.” She added, “We knew what was going on, but we didn’t see the stuff."
Mady and Cara seemed much more at ease on television compared to their "Today" show interview, answering questions such as whether they helped their mom around the house.
“I unload the dishes,” Cara said. “And Mady loads the dishwasher. She does do some work. And we, like, wipe down the counters and clean up dinner.” Mady called their six younger siblings "annoying." She added, "It's not even just the group! It's every single one of them."
They also revealed their personal taste in music, with Mady saying she's a big One Direction fan, but is definitely not a Belieber: “If I am going to be 100% honest, I don’t like Justin Bieber,” Mady admitted.
