Why is #7YearsOfKidrauhl trending?

One word: Beliebers.

Sure, Justin Bieber is currently embroiled in a dispute that allegedly involves $20,000 in “egging” damage -- and his friend "Lil-Za" was arrested on a drug charge in the Bieb’s house. But JB's fans -- they aren’t so concerned about all that. They can't be. There is too much good news in the world! News like the fact that this is the seventh anniversary of Justin Bieber’s YouTube account: YouTube.com/kidrauhl.

Way back on January 19,  2007, 12-year-old Bieber's Mom posted a video of him at a talent competition singing Ne-Yo’s "Sick." Wow, does he sound YOUNG, but you can definitely hear that signature Bieber sound. Then, about 1:15 in, he takes the mike out of its stand and that unmistakable swagger shows up, too!

"Justin Singing So Sick by Ne-yo” now has more than 6.5 million views.

OK, so that explains the "7 years" in this cryptic hashtag -- but what does "Kidrauhl" mean?

The Biebs dad, Jeremy Bieber, was a fan of an online game called “Spades” back in the day (when he was 29). On a Tripod page he apparently set up to tell fellow players about himself, Jeremy Bieber explains that his username in the game is “lordrauhl.” He says he based that moniker on “Lord Rahl,” the main character from the “Sword of Truth” series of fantasy books by Terry Goodkind.

Apparently when it came time to come up with his YouTube username, Justin Bieber paid homage to his dad and chose "kidrauhl."

Dad = Lord. Son = Kid.

Now Justin’s army of more than 48 million Twitter followers are rejoicing.
