It's not a happy day for '70s star David Cassidy. On Friday, the former actor of 'The Partridge Family' was arrested on his third drunken driving charge.
The 63-year-old was initially pulled over for an illegal turn near Los Angeles International Airport. The arresting police officer noted he smelled an "odor of an alcoholic beverage" coming from the car when he approached Cassidy. The California Highway Patrol officer said Cassidy blew twice the legal limit on an alcohol test -- a .19 percent. According to jail records, he was released on $15,000 bond several hours later.
It marks the singer-actor's third DUI. He entered a "no contest plea" as a first-time offender in February 2011 to a drunken driving charge that followed a November 2010 DUI arrest in Florida. He was arrested again (as seen in the picture on the left) in August 2013 in Schodack, New York, after failing a Breathalyzer test.
Cassidy is most well-known for his pop music career and his role as the eldest child in the 1970s TV series "The Partridge Family."
