Kelly Osbourne and fiance Matthew Mosshart revealed they called off their engagement this week, but the "Fashion Police" co-host says there are no salacious details behind the split.
"It was a mutual decision," Osbourne told E! News' Giuliana Rancic Thursday. "We love each other very much. It just wasn't the right time for us, and I think if we weren't as mature and adult than we are, then we could have gone down a road that wasn't really nice," she explained.
The 29-year-old added that she and Mosshart, a vegan chef, are still on good terms: "We're still really, really good friends; it's just we're not living in the same house," Osbourne said. "There's no dramatic story. I wish there was so I had something to tell people but no... it just happens in life."
Osbourne and Mosshart announced their engagement in July after the couple had been together for almost two years. Osbourne has seemed positive after the breakup, posting this message on Twitter:
its all about perception sometimes the bad things that happen in life aren't really bad at all especially when you learn something from it!
