Well, congratulations to Yahoo for finding a way to make a tech press event pretty awesome (Marissa Meyer, already changing things!).
Cecily Strong and Kenan Thompson of "Saturday Night Live" fame made a surprise appearance during the Yahoo CEO's keynote here with a "Weekend Update" skit -- heavy on jokes about Internet culture and social media -- in front of the sprawling crowd of otherwise stoic, lanyard-rocking suits.
To Strong's mix of jabs at Snapchat, Bitcoin, Miley Cyrus and Facebook gym posts, Thompson (appearing as the Rev. Al Sharpton because I don't know) did a great bit confusing "Yahoo" with "Yoohoo".
"Who'd have thought that a small chocolate milk company like Yoohoo could turn into one of the world's biggest tech companies?"
