Canadian airline WestJet is making a viral splash.
More than 250 people getting onboard flights were asked what they wanted for Christmas.
What they didn’t know is that while they were in the air, people on the ground at their destination we’re scrambling to procure those items! When the planes landed, the very things the passengers had asked for were waiting on the baggage carousel, wrapped and tagged!
Santa even got one family a 50-inch flat screen TV!
This isn’t the first time WestJet has used YouTube to make a splash.
Earlier this year, they announced the “Kargo Kids” program that would allow small children to travel like luggage in the cargo hold so parents could fly in peace (that video released on April 1, by the way. Nudge nudge, wink wink).
Last Christmas, they arranged a flashmob to turn a Calgary International Airport waiting area into the North Pole.
