'Dancing With the Stars' crowns new champ!

The mirror ball trophy has a new owner!

"Glee" star Amber Riley won season 17 of "Dancing With the Stars" Tuesday, beating out fellow stars Corbin Bleu, Jack Osbourne, Snooki, Valerie Harper and Bill Nye to take home the prize.

"I'm surprised, I'm relieved, I'm ecstatic, I'm happy," Riley exclaimed backstage after her win. "Every good feeling that you can feel, I feel awesome."

The 27-year-old actress and her dance partner Derek Hough didn't breeze through the grueling competition, however. Riley fought a serious knee injury throughout the season.

"Three weeks ago, she couldn't walk properly," Hough told HLN after their win. He says he was worried they wouldn't even make it to the finale, but that Riley was a trooper: "She fixed the knee up and got into the mode, and I couldn't be more proud of what we've accomplished... I couldn't have done it with anyone else."

In fact, the pair's last three performances earned them perfect scores from the judges -- a rewarding feat after 12 weeks of intense training. Riley credited her family for helping her through the season. "They've been so positive through all of this," Riley said. "They've just been absolutely amazing."

The season 17 finale featured performances from Colbie Caillat, Lady Antebellum, Enrique Iglesias and viral video sensation, Ylvis. Actor Corbin Bleu took second place while TV personality Jack Osbourne took third.

Riley says the competition has ignited a newfound love of dancing in her and she hopes to keep on going:. "It sparked something new in me. I feel like I'm a new person and I'm definitely going to keep doing it."
