It's one thing when Georgia Southern beats a big-name school like Florida, but it's another when you win the game without completing a single pass.
The Eagles, a Division I-AA team and a 28-point underdog, defeated the Gators Saturday in "The Swamp" in Gainesville, Florida, by a score of 26-20.
But what's more surprising is the fact the Eagles won, despite attempting three passes and not completing one. The team, however, did rush for 429 yards, the most against Florida since 1996.
Not bad for the Statesboro, Georgia, school, who reportedly was paid $550,000 by Florida for the game.
For the Gators, it was their sixth consecutive loss of the season and their first loss to a FCS school. The loss also means the Gators (4-7) won't be going to a bowl for the first time since 1990 when the team was on NCAA probation.
