Well, when it comes to resume building, it looks like it's game on.
New York-based web designer Robby Leonardi has created an interactive online resume that takes us on a video game journey through Leonardi's qualifications and background in a Super Mario Bros.-inspired landscape! (Also, FYI, it really does help to look over his resume while listening to this).
Leonardi's resume works like a video game in that by pressing up and down on your computer's arrow keys or using your mouse, you're able to see that not only is Leonardi a pretty good animator according to his Level 1 About section (he has a proficient Piranha Plant ranking), but that he's also a five-pixelated fish master of Photoshop in his Level 2 Skills section.
All this without having to jump over any flying turtle shells or lava pits!
Leonardi also has robots to help go over his prior work experiences and rides a balloon through his awards and publications (and just think of all the hours you wasted trying to figure out the correct font for your resume).
Finally, you end up in the clouds where Leonardi set up a section for potential employers to contact him.
Now, if fun had by playing Leonardi's resume is any indication to the ability to actually find work, then we assume that this resume won't end in saving a princess, but rather in getting one high score of a job.
