The arrest could result in jail time for Brown as it may be considered a violation of his current probation.

Brown has been in and out of legal trouble ever since 2009, when the singer assaulted girlfriend Rihanna, leaving her with a bruised face. Brown had a five-year probation sentence to serve, but landed in more hot water when he did not complete his community service.

In 2013, Brown also got in an alleged altercation with singer Frank Ocean and a spat with a woman he allegedly rear-ended while driving in Los Angeles.
