Chris Brown was arrested Sunday after allegedly getting involved in a fight outside of a W Hotel in Washington, D.C.
Brown and his bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, were both charged with felony assault, according to the Washington Metropolitan Police Department. Police say both men were involved in an altercation at 4:25 a.m. ET with another male.
Brown and Hollosy were taken into custody and were being held at the 2nd district police station, according to police.
The arrest could result in jail time for Brown as it may be considered a violation of his current probation.
Brown has been in and out of legal trouble ever since 2009, when the singer assaulted girlfriend Rihanna, leaving her with a bruised face. Brown had a five-year probation sentence to serve, but landed in more hot water when he did not complete his community service.
