Animal owners don't like to admit it, but we all kind of privately enjoy it when our animals are needy. We may grumble when they wake us up early to feed them or keep them company when they're lonely, but the truth of the matter is, it's kind of nice to be needed. Even if it's by a little furball.
In fact, you can tell Adam Douglas really likes it that his dog, Tommy, needs to hold his hand while they drive in the car together. He says no a few times, but he's laughing while he's saying it. Because let's face it, a dog that needs to hold your hand is basically the cutest thing in the world.

Douglas got some comments from some worried readers who thought maybe Tommy was in danger because he was driving with one hand when he took the video.
"A lot of you seem to be concerned about how I took the video. I put my phone in an iPhone holder that I use in my car for hands free calls. Its attached to the driver side door. The phone fell out once because I was on a back road which was quite bumpy. Tommy is also buckled in via his harness so hes safe as a house. I appreciate all the concerns, especially about Tommy being buckled in because that's important, but i assure you all it was perfectly safe, i wouldn't have done it otherwise, " Adam added in the comments below.
"You should all re-watch the video safe in the knowledge that me, Tom and the roads of Ireland are safe as ever."
