If you need an excuse to treat yourself to a new candy, we've got one for you: Hershey's has a brand new one on the way to wow your sweet tooth.
The company announced on October 10 that they planned to launch a brand new confectionery line called "Lancaster," which will be a variety of caramel soft cremes that come in Caramel, Vanilla and Caramel, and Vanilla and Raspberry. Starting in January, you'll be able to savor the smooth flavor for yourself.
The name "Lancaster" hails from the company's origins. When Hershey launched, it was called "The Lancaster Caramel Company." Its success led to the launch of The Hershey Company, and we all know what happened there -- the name because synonymous with chocolate itself.
The United States is second to try the new product. It launched in China earlier this year in three cities -- Wuhan, Hangzhou and Chengdu -- and will be more widely available there in 2014.
