Can. You. Imagine?
People waiting in line get a taste of the supernatural with their morning cuppa joe when an angry woman appears to telekinetically lift a man from his feet after he spills coffee on her laptop. Nearby patrons watch in horror as she throws a tantrum, bringing it home with a blood-curdling finale in which she screams as books topple from shelves.
James Percelay and Michael Krivicka of Thinkmodo are the masterminds behind the ruse, which was orchestrated to market the upcoming remake of "Carrie," starring Chloë Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore. The movie, based on a 1976 adaptation of a Stephen King novel, is about a teenaged girl who wreaks havoc on her high school bullies and abusive mother using newfound telekinetic powers.
The movie is out in theaters October 18.
