Barbie may be famous all over the world, have many successful careers and a beautiful dream home, but -- as a Utah incident made clear this week -- even she is not above the law.
Police near Salt Lake City, Utah, issued an abandoned vehicle citation to a Barbie Jeep that was parked in front of a driveway, according to HLN affiliate KUTV.
Police say they left the orange ticket on the hood of the battery-operated Jeep after they found it in the road. But the 7- and 9-year-old owners of the vehicle told KUTV they left it on the sidewalk and aren't sure how it got in the street.
Luckily, the ticket issued to "Barbie" did not involve any fines or other repercussions. Police told KUTV they did it as a joke and as a friendly reminder that they're "looking out for [the neighbors] and their property."
Even the girls' dad is laughing. He said to KUTV that he can't be mad at his daughters because he's "gotten [his] fair share of tickets."
