More than 15 hours and counting!
That's how long, Texas GOP senator Ted Cruz has been standing, and talking, on the floor of the Senate.
He is there supporting a plan meant to prevent a government shutdown by getting rid of Obamacare.
To fill time, he has read tweets from supporters, and quoted the television show "Duck Dynasty" and country star Toby Keith. He even read Dr. Seuss for his daughters, because he wasn't at home to read them a bedtime story.
Critics, including fellow Republicans, have accused him of grandstanding.
That's because his actions won't affect a budget vote today that would delay a government shutdown while leaving Obamacare as is.
