Syrian refugees are fleeing their country trying to get somewhere -- anywhere -- that is safer, and most are ending up in overcrowded refugee camps just inside the border of the countries next door: Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey and even Iraq.
Thankfully, charities are there with water, food, sanitation, medicine and lodging. They are also providing child-safe areas, counseling and school for more than 1 million children. But with more arriving each day, the race is on to provide enough of the basics just to survive.
