San Diego Mayor Bob Filner has now been accused of sexual harassment by 18 different women. Businesswoman Dianne York became the 18th accuser Wednesday when she came forward and told CNN that Filner put his hands on her buttocks during a photo opp about three months ago.
The other 17 women have all told very different, but equally scandalous, stories about how Filner made inappropriate sexual advances toward them. One woman said Filner gave her "tush a pat," while another said he "put me in what I guess now is the famous headlock" and tried "to kiss me on the lips and I'd have to squirm to get away." Filner has publicly acknowledged his inappropriate behavior, but has refused to allow it to force him out of office, rejecting pleas to that effect by the people of San Diego.
So the hosts of a local San Diego morning show took it upon themselves to get the word of the people out. Scott Kaplan and Amber Mesker of U-T TV created a parody of Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" video as a way to make sure their message was heard loud and clear.
Kaplan and Mesker join HLN After Dark tonight to talk about why they made the video and what the people of San Diego are saying about Filner's sexual harassment scandal.
