Casey Anthony judge getting his own show?

Judge Belvin Perry Jr. quickly became a household name when he presided over the Casey Anthony trial. Now, the judge is being called the next Judge Judy!

TV producer Jim Lichtenstein told the Orlando Sentinel newspaper on Monday that he's working to get the judge his own TV show. "We've been keeping it very quiet," said Lichtenstein about the project.

Perry's no nonsense approach and witty courtroom quotes during the Anthony trial in 2011 quickly earned him legions of fans, including those who wore "Judge Perry is my homeboy" T-shirts outside the judge's Orlando courthouse.

Lichtenstein said Perry’s sense of humor is just one of the attributes that will be featured on the show. "The fact that Judge Perry is the real thing certainly adds to the interest," Lichtenstein told the paper. "There's never been a judge who on day one of the show he's a household name. When Judge Judy started, nobody knew who she was."

As of now, no TV deal has been made, but would you want to watch Judge Perry on TV?
