A former college and NFL linebacker was arrested Sunday night after deputies say he left a 3-year-old girl in a car while he went into a Florida strip club.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, 41-year-old Monty Ray Grow allegedly left the toddler unattended in the vehicle in a parking lot while he went to the Diamond Dolls strip club in Clearwater.
When deputies arrived, the child’s grandparents were on the scene and had removed her from the car. She was uninjured.
A sheriff’s office press release alleges that Grow admitted to deputies that he left her in the vehicle. He was arrested for child abuse.
