The verdict of "not guilty" in the George Zimmerman trial has led to outpourings of support and criticism on both sides of the case. From local protesters to members of congress to U.S. President Barack Obama himself, a number of people have expressed their opinions on not only the verdict, but the death of Trayvon Martin, gun laws and potential lawsuits against Zimmerman.

On top of that, social media has erupted in response to the verdict, as well as to the prosecution team's press conference immediately following the jurors' decision. Prosecutor Angela Corey, in particular, became a topic of conversation on Twitter as users critiqued the state's response to the verdict.

The prosecution team in this case has faced criticism on a variety of points, including the lack of evidence, witness testimony and credibility, and ultimately, the verdict.
