A Racine, Wisconsin, man was arrested after police say he used a slingshot to fire marbles at a neighbor’s house, WITI reported.
A neighbor of 60-year-old Edward Pavlik told police that he and his family were outside lighting sparklers when something struck the siding of his house. The neighbor saw Pavlik sitting in his window down the road. However, when he went to confront him, Pavlik allegedly pointed a gun at him, according to the Journal Times.
Responding officers found a revolver in Pavlik’s pants pocket and several marbles in his shirt pocket. They then saw a slingshot inside his house. Pavlik allegedly admitted that he fired the marbles at the neighbor’s house with the slingshot and said it was “a stupid mistake,” according to WITI.
Pavlik was charged with second-degree recklessly endangering safety, pointing a firearm at another, carrying a concealed weapon and criminal damage to property.
