Casey Anthony to pay $25K over life story

  • Settles dispute with creditors who wanted to sell it
  • Anthony is in debt for almost $800,000

Casey Anthony will pay $25,000 to settle a dispute over the rights to her life story.

Creditors wanted to sell those rights to help pay off the almost $800,000 she owes.

But Anthony argued her story isn't "property."

So they compromised.

ABC news reports a friend is lending her the cash. 

Anthony has been unemployed since her acquittal in her daughter Caylee's death.
