A Clarksburg man was arrested at a Taylor Swift concert in Pittsburgh Saturday after police say he allegedly made threats against the singer on Facebook.
KDKA reported that Joseph Jackson, 28, had posters saying “I luv you Taylor” and “Taylor is with Satan” when he was taken into custody at Heinz Field. Police found no weapons in his possession.
Swift’s security team had reportedly alerted authorities about the alleged Facebook threats.
According to KDKA, Jackson allegedly told arresting officers that “Taylor Swift is Satan" and "6,000 years is six days and death comes on the sixth day, so Taylor Swift is in danger.”
Court records show Jackson has been charged with resisting arrest and defiant trespassing. He is due in court again on July 17.
