The tumultuous on-again-off-again relationship of “Twilight” super-couple Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson appears to finally be off for good. R-Patz has recently been spotted out with 24-year-old actress/model Riley Keough (who some say bears a striking resemblance to K-Stew). So who is the latest actress to catch Pattinson’s attention? Let us break it down:
She comes from a serious rock’n’roll lineage. Born Danielle Riley Keough in 1989, Riley is the eldest grandchild of Elvis and Priscilla Presley (she was born 12 years after Elvis’ death). Her mother is Lisa Marie Presley and father is Danny Keough, a musician who played in Lisa Marie’s band. Riley is also most likely to be the next in line to inherit ownership of the famed Graceland mansion as her mother is currently the 100% sole-owner of the estate. And who can forget that Keough can also count Michael Jackson as her stepfather for a brief time? Her mother was married to him from 1994 to 1996.
She’s a Victoria’s Secret alum. Although Keough is now focused on acting, the young star started her career as a model. She's walked the runways for Dolce and Gabbana and Christian Dior and been featured in campaigns for Miss Dior Cherie and Tommy Hilfiger. She's also already earned her wings -- angel wings that is -- as she walked the runaway in the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show when she was 18. In her first television interview on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 2007, Keough said that her career goal was to be a photographer.
Awk-ward! She has a connection to K-Stew. The two young actresses acted together in the 2010 film “The Runaways.” Stewart played one of the lead roles as Joan Jett and Keough played Marie Currie. Keough was also reportedly up for the lead role in “Snow White and the Huntsman,” which we know ultimately went to Stewart. Which also led to Stewart cheating on Rob Pattinson with director Rupert Sanders. Oh, the irony.
She’s kept her private life mostly private -- until now. Keough has previously dated Hollywood hunks like Ryan Cabrera and Alex Pettyfer, but the spotlight has mostly been on her family before now. Last year, Keough told The Hollywood Reporter, “It's one of those things where it's like, if you're going to do this job, your personal life is going to be everyone's business. I'm in a position where I've been really lucky, and I'm not going to act like that didn't have anything to do with it.”
What’s next for the new duo? Keough has just wrapped up production on her film “Mad Max: Fury Road” (due out in 2014) alongside Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult, and Pattinson has a whole slew on movies on the calendar for next year, including “Queen of the Desert” with James Franco and Naomi Watts.
