A Look Ahead: No Vegas plans for Prince Harry

We know how you feel about Monday morning -- not the greatest day, right? You fumble for the coffee, stare bleary-eyed at your overstuffed inbox, and wonder why you aren't still wrapped in a blanket cocoon on the sofa watching reruns of "Mad Men." It's rough, having to come to a job and make money, but we'll ease your pain and let you in on some of what this week has to offer.

Monday, May 6: Today, Budweiser debuts its new bowtie cans, which were designed to mirror the look of its logo and make your beer-drinking experience all the more fancy. Plus, deliberations resume in the Jodi Arias trial, meaning a verdict could be announced at a moment's notice.

Tuesday, May 7: If you were born on or before 1981, MTV is a part of what made childhood awesome. You can revisit those tender times with "VJ: The Unplugged Adventures of MTV's First Wave," which tells the story through the eyes of the original hosts. Expect lots of crazy rock star adventure stories peppered with those "Wow, I'm smack in the middle of a cultural revolution" moments.

Wednesday, May 8: Speaking of the golden age of MTV, Alex Van Halen turns 59 today. We have a feeling he'll be drumming up a storm.

Thursday, May 9: Today kicks off a six-day U.S. tour for Prince Harry, who is paying a special visit to victims of Hurricane Sandy. He'll make stops in New Jersey, Washington, D.C., Denver, Colorado Springs, Connecticut and New York City. If you're in any of those cities, keep an eye out for the dashing redhead. However, it sounds like he won't be going back to Las Vegas, though.

Friday, May 10: While many choose to honor spouses in the military every day, we do have an actual holiday for it. Ronald Reagan declared the holiday in 1984, and it's been celebrated ever since. As the president typically makes a proclamation to celebrate, you might want to keep an eye out for that. Or you could just take your spouse to dinner and give them a big hug.
