"Look at us! Looook at uuuus! Please?!"
This is not the Jacksonville Jaguars' team slogan for the upcoming 2013 season -- but it could be.
The borderline irrelevant, win-averse franchise was one of three NFL teams to reveal a new uniform Tuesday -- and the only one to do so intentionally -- and their gaudy new duds, which include the NFL's first two-tone helmet, are clearly designed to make this forgettable franchise A Cool Thing With The Kidzzz.
Now, I don't exactly see a nation full of 7th-graders suddenly demanding Jaguars gear, but good for them going for something different in the hyper-conservative landscape of NFL logos and uniforms.
The new Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings uniforms were also leaked Tuesday -- the Dolphins going the complete overhaul route, with their recently-unveiled new logo at the heart of their redesign, while the new Vikings uniform looks... like the oldVikings uniform. Both teams will officially debut their new looks Thursday during the NFL Draft.
And speaking of those Jaguars' uniforms again... they sparked a Twitter fight between two mascots. This is an actual thing that really happened on Twitter. Enjoy:
