Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman have a serious bromance going on!
The A-list actors, who co-star in the upcoming sci-fi flick, "Oblivion," couldn't stop gushing about each other at the film's premiere.
Showbiz Tonight caught up with the actors on the red carpet, and Cruise said of Freeman, “I have just always thought this guy is very special." Cruise added they had been wanting to work together for some time. "I’ve been looking for something and he has been looking for something so I feel excited that this is the film that we have because it needs Morgan Freeman in this movie."
And this bromance is not one-sided. Freeman also sang Cruise's praises. “I've been begging the fates to let me work with Tom Cruise for a lot of years. I’m one of his huge fans, really," Freeman said.
"I don’t know how much of his work you’ve seen but this kid can do it," Freeman added. "He’s an out-of-sight actor, you know. He’s so dedicated to work and so fun to work with someone who is that generous and that dedicated.”
You can catch Cruise and Freeman on the big screen when "Oblivion" hits theaters April 19.
