It’s Masters Week in Augusta, Georgia, y’all!
Even if you’re not from the South or an avid golf fan, you should still be paying attention to this international golf tournament. Why? Devon Williams gives you all the reasons you need in her catchy ukulele-accompanied tune.
“It’s just a different world inside the gates of Augusta National,” Williams tells HLN. “It’s a really fun time: People come here from all over the world for the tournament. [Augustans] are away, but I stay here because it’s more fun than going to the beach. Spring break is different when you’re from Augusta!”
Her favorite part? The camaraderie. “Even if you don’t play golf, walk around the course -- it’s beautiful,” she says. Also worth mentioning: The food! “The sandwiches there are amazing. The turkey, the pimento cheese -- they’re all good.”
The Augusta native hasn’t missed a tournament since she was 7 years old, so she knows all the ins and outs of Masters Week. Want to know when to get players’ autographs and where to watch the final round? Give Williams’ song a listen.
