Band-a-rama: Pick your perfect music fest for 2013!

Live tunes, warm weather and campgrounds bring thousands of people together each year for the biggest music festivals across the States. While some big performers make a splash by headlining one particular event, there are also several notable acts that hit the festival circuit and pop up on many outdoor stages. This year, those acts include everyone from Grammy winners Mumford and Sons to the recently reunited The Postal Service and EDM favorite DJ Steve Aoki.

Check out the guide below to see which open field you can catch your favorite act on.

COACHELLA -- April 12-14 and April 19-21

Where: Indio, California

Headliners: Blur, The Stone Roses, Phoenix, Red Hot Chili Peppers

Artist that you can only see here: The two Friday night headliners and recently reunited Brit groups -- Blur and The Stone Roses -- only have plans to play Coachella on this side of the pond.

STAGECOACH -- April 26-28

Where: Indio, California

Headliners: Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band

Artist you can only see here: This might be one of the only Lady Antebellum tour dates this summer due to Hillary Scott's pregnancy, and Academy Award winner Jeff Bridges will be breaking out his guitar when he performs onstage with his band Jeff Bridges and the Abiders.

HANGOUT -- May 17-19

Where: Gulf Shores, Alabama

Headliners: Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Stevie Wonder, Kings of Leon

Artist you can only see here: According to Stevie Wonder’s official site, he has no other tour dates lined up for this year.

SASQUATCH! -- May 24-27

Where: Quincy, Washington

Headliners: Mumford & Sons

Artist you can only see here: OK, so Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are performing at more festivals than just this one, but this is the hometown show of the breakout "Thrift Shop" duo, which we are betting will make it their most electric summer set.

Where: Randall’s Island, New York City

Headliners: Kanye West, Kings of Leon, Guns n’ Roses

Artist you can only see here: Right now this is Kanye’s only scheduled U.S. date this summer, and after July he might be a little busy being a new daddy.

BONNAROO -- June 13-16

Where: Manchester, Tennessee

Headliners: Paul McCartney, Mumford & Sons, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers

Artist you can only see here: This is a rare U.S. music festival performance from Paul McCartney (his last was headlining Coachella in 2009).

KANROCKSAS -- June 28-29

Where: Kansas City, Kansas

Headliners: Tiesto, Fun., Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Artist you can only see here: This is the only non-EDM-centric festival this summer where you can catch a set by Tiesto.

FASTER HORSES -- July 19-21

Where: Brooklyn, Michigan

Headliners: Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan

Artist you can only see here: Check out country music newcomers breaking onto the scene: Florida Georgia Line and Jon Pardi.

LOLLAPALOOZA -- August 2-4

Where: Chicago, Illinois

Headliners: The Killers, Mumford & Sons, The Cure

Artist you can only see here: The Killers will be hitting festivals in Europe, but this is the only one you can catch them at Stateside.
