Teens being tried as adults in baby's shooting

17-year-old De'marquise Elkins and 15-year-old Dominique Lang will be tried as adults

The two teens charged with shooting a Georgia baby in his stroller will be tried as adults.

A grand jury indicted 17-year-old De'marquise Elkins and 15-year-old Dominique Lang yesterday on felony murder charges.

They won't face the death penalty because they're under 18.

Brunswick police say the shooting was a botched robbery Elkins was the shooter.

Three of Elkins' relatives are also facing charges.  The indictment says his mother tossed the possible murder weapon into a pond, with help from his older sister. Elkins' aunt was also charged with lying to police.
