Missouri native Cheyenna Ames' is currently battling cystic fibrosis, and her ultimate dream was to meet her idol Taylor Swift. On Monday, her dream came true.
The 15-year-old got a chance to meet Swift at the Scottrade Center in Missouri as a part of Swift's RED Tour.
"She is just amazing and it is a dream to meet her," Ames told HLN affiliate
KTVI. "I was too sick to go the last time she was performing here. This time I don't feel great, but I will be where I need to be for the concert."
With her tickets in tow, Ames was prepared to see Swift perform, but on Monday night, representatives from the Bull 93.7 gave her meet and greet tickets.
"Now I will get to actually meet her," she said. "I am going to get as much excitement out of this as I can."
Ames, who spends most of her time at Cardinal Glennon hospital, said that it was a great change of environment for her.
"I have my dress, jewelry and my boots," she said. "This is the Cheyenna I want to see."
She attended the concert with one of her nurses, and gushed about her memorable experience.
"She was super nice," she said. "My favorite singer."
