6 teens killed in Ohio SUV crash

  • Police: no one in car had seat belt on
  • Unclear where group was headed
Six teens are dead in Warren, Ohio after a driver lost control of a vehicle on Sunday, March 10, 2013 and flipped it into a pond, authorities said.

Eight Ohio teens were crowded into one SUV early Sunday when the driver lost control. Police say the vehicle flipped over after hitting a guardrail and landed in a pond nearby.

UPDATE: SUV was reported stolen

The crash happened near Warren, Ohio.

Six of the teens didn't survive -- the other two ran for help.

No one was wearing a seat belt.
