The current situation really benefits companies, and not you. But you can do something to change that.
Right now, you can get your credit report for free once a year. But your credit report is just the laundry list of your payments & history, not your credit score, which is crucial.
Even if you pay to see your credit report, it's still not what Banks see!
Now two lawmakers want to change that, but will their bill get anywhere?

You can do something! Consumer Reports makes it easy for you to write your lawmaker. Their website, DefendYourDollars.org, has a form letter you can customize to let your representatives in Washington know you want to see your "secret" score... the same one lenders use!
