  • Student says she saw someone in KKK paraphernalia walking on campus
A series of racist incidents rock Ohio's Oberlin College

Ohio's Oberlin college suspended classes Monday, after a series of racist incidents.

The latest happened early Monday morning.

"I saw someone in what seemed to be KKK paraphernalia walking on a pathway" one student tells HLN affiliate WJW.

Police say some 15 hate-related incidents have been reported in the last month at Oberlin, southwest of Cleveland including swastika graffiti, and posters with racial slurs.

Instead of classes yesterday, Oberlin hosted a series of meetings with students to discuss the incidents.
