Country star Mindy McCready's memorial was announced Thursday. The event will be organized by her friends, peers and the music community more than two weeks after her apparent suicide.
The memorial will be held March 6 in Nashville, Tennessee, at the Cathedral of the Incarnation and will be open to close friends and peers in the music industry.
McCready's friends, Bekka Bramlett, Lorrie Morgan and Bryan White, will perform at the service. An official fund is being established for the care of her two young sons, Zander and Zayne.
A funeral was held for the star earlier this week in Florida. The 37-year-old died on Feb. 17 in Heber Springs, Arkansas.
