A little girl felt so bad about accidentally taking two sticks from Yosemite National Park that she mailed them back. The little girl, named Evie, is a junior ranger for the park, and had learned there that she wasn't supposed to take things from nature. The guilt was eating her up, so she mailed an apology letter with said sticks attached. It reads as follows:
‘Dear Park Rangers
I am a Yosemite Junior Ranger. I went to Yosemite recently and accidentally brought home two sticks.
I know I'm not supposed to take things from the park, so I am sending them back. Please put them in nature.
Thank you, Evie’
The people at Yosemite thought this was so cute they had to post it to their Facebook page. More than 6,000 people "liked" it. It’s a little hard to tell whether she technically broke any official park rules (sticks aren’t exactly an endangered species) but it’s the thought that counts, right?
