The deadline for forced spending cuts to kick in is tomorrow.
Friday, congressional leaders will meet with President Obama to work on possible solutions, but the chances of getting a deal before then are slim.
HLN's Jennifer Westhoven points out one way you could feel the pinch:
She says people at the IRS are among the government employees who could be furloughed, possibly in April. That could mean a longer wait for your refund, if you haven't filed already.
It also means if you need help filling out your return, there might not be someone on the other end to answer your call. Even with a full staff, only about 7-in-10 people got through on the phone last year.
It could also mean fewer audits, and less enforcement of identity fraud.
