'Brogurt': Will guys eat this up?

'Brogurt': Will guys eat this up?

Guys who wouldn't be caught dead eating regular old yogurt now have another, manlier option: "Brogurt."

Officially called "Powerful," this new yogurt is geared specifically toward men and -- from the looks of the pics on the product's website -- very fit men at that. This treat with the bro-centric nickname even has the slogan,"Find your inner abs."

According to Powerful's site, its makers say the Greek yogurt market is typically dominated by women, so they thought a more masculine version was in order. The site states, "It’s an all-natural, super-protein, great-tasting yogurt specifically designed to meet the health and performance needs of busy men living an active lifestyle."

What exactly does this mean? Well, for one thing, Powerful offers up a mighty serving size: A typical single serving-sized yogurt container fits about 6 ounces; Powerful has close to 8. It’s also got about 10 more grams of protein packed in.

One food marketing professor told there are still a lot of closeted male yogurt eaters, because most yogurt brands have a very feminine look.

So, what do you think? Do men need their own brand?
