There’s major controversy over a 9-year-old rapper named Lil Poopy.
One of his popular YouTube raps contain the lyrics “Coke ain't a bad word.” It’s a tongue-in-cheek reference to Coca-Cola, but the innuendo has people upset. Plus, some of his other videos show him swearing and slapping a woman’s bottom.
HLN affiliate WCVB says child welfare authorities in Massachusetts are investigating Lil Poopy’s family. But the boy's father says his son is doing nothing wrong, and their lawyer claims that Lil Poopy has a First Amendment right to rap whatever he pleases.
