Megan Fox and Michael Bay have decided to play nice for the sake of the turtles -- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, that is!
The actress and the producer, who had a public falling out after working together on the "Transformers" franchise, have apparently reconciled. Bay revealed that Fox will have a role in his upcoming "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie.
Bay announced the casting news on his website, posting simply, "TMNT: We are bringing Megan Fox back into the family."
Though he didn't specify what role she would be playing, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Fox will play the lead role of April O'Neil, a human friend of the Ninjas. The movie will combine live-action and CGI and is currently in the midst of casting the roles of the four Ninjas.
Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that Bay and Fox buried the hatchet over a series of meetings, with Fox impressing the new movie's presumed director, Jonathan Liebesman.
In 2009, Fox, who had appeared in two of the Bay-produced "Transformers" movies, said of the temperamental producer: “He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is."
