One week after the NBA's slam dunk contest, we finally saw the most amazing trick shot of the season.
But it didn't come one of the pros. It came from a small Mississippi university. Also, it didn't come from a basketball player.
It came from a cheerleader.
With acrobatics and creativity that Blake Griffin could only dream of, William Carey University junior cheerleader Ashlee Arnau nailed this shot of a lifetime during a break in Thursday night's game against Auburn-Montgomery.
And one more time, from a different angle:
Arnau, who is also on the school's soccer team, had reportedly been attempting the shot all season and nailed it during the team's last home game of the year.
Not only did William Carey go on to win the game, but the night's big star took home her own prize as well:
