Arias' testimony has methodically walked through the major events of her life, starting with her childhood.

Alexander died on June 4, 2008. He was shot in the head, stabbed multiple times, and his throat was slit.

On Tuesday, Arias’ testimony may have placed one of the murder weapons at the scene. Arias said Alexander used a kitchen knife to cut some rope for one of their sexual encounters on June 4, 2008. After he was finished, Alexander placed the knife somewhere in his bedroom or his adjacent bathroom. Arias said she was unsure of the exact placement of the knife. Earlier Tuesday, Arias testified her memory from the day Alexander died was spotty, hinting at the trauma she endured that day.

So far, Arias has not mentioned where the .25 caliber handgun used to shoot Alexander came from.

Arias’ testimony will pick up Wednesday where she left of Tuesday with her describing how she was about to photograph Alexander’s newly sculpted physique in his bedroom moments before she killed him.
