As a kid, you probably wished your drawings could pop from the page and transform into real live 3D objects.
Well, your dreams have now become reality, thanks to the 3Doodler pen, developed by startup company, WobbleWorks.
The pen works like a handheld 3D printer. Just plug it into your nearest power outlet and let your imagination be your guide. As you draw, the pen spits out colorful strands of plastic. A tiny fan inside the pen cools the wispy, plastic strands. And voila! Your creation solidifies into a multidimensional work of art right before your eyes.

People are already designing everything from jewelry to mini Eiffel Towers using the gadget.

To help raise money for future development on the product, WobbleWorks launched a Kickstarter campaign. Just a few hours later, the company exceeded their $30,000 fundraising goal.
3Doodler is expected to hit the market later this year. It will retail for $75, but the first wave of Kickstarter backers were able to snag the pen for $50.
