Country music is taking over Brooklyn!
Brooklyn, Michigan, that is.
Superstars Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan are teaming up for the inaugural Faster Horses Festival July 19-21.
The festival is set in the middle of the Great Lakes and rolling hills of Michigan and will feature two stages, nine campgrounds, late night music sets, bonfires and more.
"There's nothing like summertime up in that part of the country," headliner Jason Aldean tells HLN. "The days are warm, the nights are cool and everyone is ready to party out on the lakes and in campgrounds."
Other country music artists slated to perform at the Faster Horses Festival include Kix Brooks, Chris Young, Colt Ford, Thompson Square and Jerrod Nieman. More artists will be announced at a later date.
Aldean gives HLN another reason why he likes Michigan location for the festival: "When I first started playing music, I thought the popularity of country music was limited to the Southeast because I'm from Georgia and the clubs I was playing were pretty limited to Florida and Georgia and Alabama. The first time I played up in places like Michigan and Ohio I was blown away by the fans up there and their genuine love for country music. It's a lifestyle for them, and whether you are inside an arena or out in a field somewhere, it's just a huge event."
Tickets for the festival go on sale February 25 and country fans can follow @faster_horses on Twitter for all the updates on the event.
