Snow slams Boston overnight

If your city is getting slammed by the monster snowstorm, you have a lot of company. Wintry weather and powerful winds have left thousands of people without power. The storm has killed at least one person.

Some of the hardest-hit states include Connecticut and Massachusetts, but the chilly effects have stretched to parts of eastern Pennsylvania and Rhode Island. So far, more than 5,000 flights from approximately 60 airports were canceled.
